    I have a CBR1000RA, the 2015 ABS version.
The battery is getting a bit tired.
    I bought a plug in top-up charger but I think it's a bit late.

Lots of people are wanting to sell me a look-alike YTZ10S for about £30 or 'genuine' for £70
    Or Lithium.
I'd pay a premium price for more Amp Hours or years of service but I'm not really that bothered by weight as the ACU medical rules pulled my licence in 2001. However I can't find a Lithium that quotes AH. Is it relevant to me? If not is there a high capacity version of the Pb one? Google doesn't seem to be helping but I'm a retired physicist. I need numbers.

I'm using a Shido Lipo4. Weight saving is crazy and wasn't too expensive.

Haven't bothered with a different trickle charger, just took it off for winter and kept it in a cupboard.

I'm running a Yuasa YTZ7S. It's worth paying that extra for a better battery imho, just hassle free from having to change it again anytime soon.

Hi Nigel. I have fitted a motobatt mbtz7s. It's about £30-40 depending where you buy from. The good thing about it is it doesn't have standard terminal posts like the OEM battery. They're much stronger and can easily take extra cables for other things you might have fitted. It's only a year old on my bike but has been excellent so far.
