    Had the bike on SORN this month but hopefully with better weather approaching I want to get the bike taxed from April 1 (Sunday) can I renew tax on line or do I have to go to post office on Saturday 31st March and renew from April 1?

    As HRH says do it online, it's one bit of Government IT that actually works.

    Sometimes it won't show as taxed on online sites or apps until the next day so just print out your confirmation which will say you are taxed and ready to go.
