First feckin hot weekend in months and I'm booked to visit the parents Can't go to Le Touquet or Box Hill. If anyone sees a grey Ford Focus on the M3 with a pissed off looking bloke at the wheel. That will be me. Next time.... Still, Spa & Hockenheim next week so hope the weather holds out.
I think I only posted once on that thread Gary. I would sooner be riding my bike in the nice weather than sitting at a French restaurant thanks!
yep - the A25 and police infested kent / surrey roads are mega compared to quiet coastal roads and some national parks in france!! plus the dog rolls at rykers is to die for - enjoy megs
Listen gents, I'm not having a go at you for going to Le Touquet ? You go, ride for 50 mins, eat snails for 3 hours n then ride back. Knock yerselves out . It's just not for me OK. I will be riding on fast B roads and the A264 to Boxhill, I won't be using the A25, just the poxy A24, coz I don't know the back roads around Gatwick. I won't be eating dogburger at Rykas, just chatting with mates and hopefully encouraging some more riders to join us on SECB. When I go to the continent, I wanna ride my bike for at least 5 or 6 hours!!! I am going to the Ardennes in 12 days for 6 days of scenic, bendy and sometimes fast riding! Just watchout for French cops on that coast road, they'll be waiting for ya and they have guns!
I won't be eating snails for three hours and only riding 50 miles when in France Sunday. Regardless of what everyone's doing, have fun and ride safely- word up
