Been in dealers price is £14999 non abs and 600 more for abs ordered mine today for February delivery will send pic when I pick up
That puts it into the "League of gentlemen "so this would be interesting.Wonder if they have modified the ABS .
If your thinking of the road version of the production racer RCV1000R think you'll need to add another 60k ish to the price mate!
they said they are geting 1 in possibly2 but i said i would prefer the non abs but if only a abs version comes in shop i said i would take it.the dealer was at birmingham for the show opening for dealers and he said it looked awsome the engines are blueprintet the same as factory teams.it will be interesting to see it on wednesday as will all u guys also next week.hey i know its pricey but it does come with a lot of kit i agree with some of your comments on wheels and if it came with say marchensini then the price tag would refleck this.i hope i am not the only one to purchase one on this forum not trying to be bashfull but i dont smoke or drink a lot so itmaybe fair that i treat myself/
My thoughts exactly, a nice bike but not worth 15k IMO but look forward to hearing how it goes on the road!
Mate I know of spec'd blades that cost 30k easy! I've built them! And that's with NO engine work! You don't have to justify the cost mate, you've worked for it, you buy it and enjoy it.! I think it's a VERY reasonable price and as I say cost wise....well....I get people all the time who want top spec forks, exhausts etc etc but it comes at a cost, the price is the price and that's that! Some even say I can get a full Ti Akra for 500 quid, I say go on then I'll have FIVE, never seen ONE yet Ha Ha.
Well done matey, no justification needed, look forward to it and enjoy, just think twice about spending 15k and maybe being unhappy with shite ABS brakes if you get a duff one and ruin the dream, stick to non ABS until Honda make a system that is bulletproof rather than the Russian roulette system they fit at present.
i totaly agree with your comment arthur it does not take alot to get up to 30k wheels 2.5k forks 2k rear 1k this is just run of the mill the real racers are at 20 k plus for a set of forks and people who say full system 500 quid must be on glue or we all would have some.i am not implying its a factory race bike just the normal blade with a few additives/but surely with the ohlins alone it will hold its price a lot better,
Well it's agro free mate, just needs some nice wheels, a GP shifter and a full system + remap and she'll be to to go... lol
