Speedo swap cbr1000rr 2019

Hi guys I just wonder if the Speedo from the new cbr1000rr 2019 is straight swap For another one or no.
Any ideas ?

Should do Jack. Just not a different model. It’ll have the old mileage on tho

Do you know if it is a straight swap for the 12-16 bikes? I know the power modes etc won’t function but only interested in speed, rpm, gear and lap timer. Thanks in advance, Jared.

 

I can't be positive, but it seems highly likely that the speedo unit will be compatible, especially as Honda has already said that the 2019 unit is not compatible with the 2017 - 18 units.

The problem you will have is connection into the loom. It is also highly likely that there's be no connection and ECU function for the lap timer, let alone other functions.

 

I don't know mate if its the same connector, if it is I have a hm dash for sale, its mint as well, phone hm up and ask them if its the same loom connector,

 

Hi 08-16 is straight swap that's for sure I done that on my 15 plate
