As title says really. I was out on the bike today and thought it was revving too high for the speed I was doing. As it turns out it seems to be reading about 8-10 mph to low ???.

Any ideas people. I can only assume I've upset something when swapping the fairings on Saturday but don't know really.

    Cheers

there was a known fault on some 04-05 models with the speedo sensor.
could be this, is it out by much.

When I went through a nearby village they have one of them display things that shows your speed. It flashed up to slow down and was showing 49mph. When I looked down at my own dash I was doing 38 mph !!.

I'll get in touch with my local dealer and see what they say about that recall. Cheers or that Phantom ;)

Ah well back to square one as the replacement speedo sensor I acquired STILL hasn't cured problem :(
Think I'll just have to get Mr Honda to fix it. It's started making clicking noises from front. Seems to coming from the steering damper/ignition barrel area ???. Sounds like its trying to reset something ??
The bike has started diving badly and slowing right down when you wind off the throttle. It feels like front brakes are sticking on but they're fine !. Just can't fathom out what's happened here like :( :(
