Sports Pack Akropovic

    Hi guys bike is stuffed away for winter took it out for a little run today. Does anyone know what size Allen key I need to remove the baffle? Poor lighting in garage I really can't see. Steve are you there?? :)

    It's either a 3mm or 4mm mate. I'd go for the 3 first though.

    You might need a telescopic magnet cos it falls into the side of the can if you're not careful.Sounds awesome!

    Good shout mate. The screw fell in when I took it out. Luckily enough I did it while the exhaust was off the bike so I could shake it out.

    I was expecting to take mine off when it fell in.Good old magnet saved the day.

    Mine was an 8mm socket, not and allen key.

    I've just removed mine and the bikes brand new so has the latest sports pack akra. The baffle wasn't secured with an allen bolt, it was a standard bolt which was a nightmare to get out for the reasons mentioned above. I had to remove the end can (which was easy) this allowed for simple access to the bolt access hole (and access to the socket that fell off into the void of the carbon section)

    I'm guilty of being easily pleased, but the sound post removal is absolutely fantastic.

    i removed mine when the exhaust was in place on the bike. I tis a bit tricky, but a steady hand sees the job done.
    The bloke who bought my akra couldnt work out how to remove the baffle even!
