i have a 2011 repsol and i am experiencing problems going down the box. sometimes it simply just doesnt want to click down. chain is tensioned correctly. anybody had this before. it isnt false neutrals
Happens occasionally on my 2010 model and the pedal feels all 'spongy'. Tends to occur when I knock down and dont allow the pedal to return to its usual position before knocking down again normally in my not so flexible racing boots. Cant recall it occuring when I wear my shorter, more flexible ankle boots though. To rectify I tend to ever so slightly lift my entire foot off the peg when wearing my racing boots but pivot my heel on the peg in my ankle boots. When it does happen I just shift up once to clear it. Maybe personalised rear sets would cure my problem?
The same thing happened to mine. Check for chain tight spots and lubricate the chain. Sorted mine instantly. Gearbox is very final drive fussy.
