Dear fellow blade riders- for followers of the stolen blade story- ( see my other posts) the cops tell me they suspect that info from buyers on eBay tipped the scumbags who nicked my bike and many others found in the West Mercia ' Alladins cave' in which it was recovered. They asked if I had bought anything on eBay ( not really ) if so can I give them the sellers details. They think it is a national scam with details passed onto the thieves. The robbers have been re- bailed owing to ' the scope of our investigation'. I have asked for the Court date because I'm going to turn up to see if I can find out anything about them. When I do ( it's another 2.5 months ) I will put the details on this site. Of course I know that I can't libel anyone. I can't do anything else irresponsible either. - but I think you guys would like to know.
The next bit probably should be elsewhere but apparently I can't go on ' wanted' cos I'm a relative newbie. Can anyone help out? Having ridden my lovely twice stolen Blade ( read my story if you like happy endings).
I'm looking to tart up a few bits on the old girl. And a little upgrade maybe. She's a black 08. I need a scratch less offside fairing section. I have a minor crack in my front mud guard so a similar replacement would be great.
On an upgrade note- a used OEM exhaust that is not rusted or scratched/ dinked and possibly a Showa shock from a 2013 non ABS at a sensible £ ( pref in the London or SE area ) could be put to use. Thanks people. GaryS

Sorry people I was being hassled - in my post ' buyers on eBay' should have read 'sellers on eBay'.
The theory is which does nt apply to my second theft which was 100% opportunistic as I was a dick to leave it even for a minute, is that the police have 'interrogated' the phones and computers of the people arrested for the theft and found an evidential link that suggests that there is a connection between the vehicles found and their owners ordering on line thru eBay. So u order a bit for a 2014 ABS, they pass on the details and apparently across the UK these bikes/ addresses are checked out. If your security is poor- you are targeted by a theft team. The bike goes into a network and is broken and resold on line. Sorry for any confusion caused. As stated I will make sure I get all the info ( names/ sellers identity ) I can when it comes to Court.
