This has turned up, pretty much destroyed The thief tried riding at night around 02:00 with no lights, lost control and bike crashed into some concrete bollards where it met its end Rider crawled around 300 meters in agony before being spotted and ambulance arrived, he is currently in hospital for at least a broken leg and hopefully much more. Will now be able to ask police to lodge claim for value of bike and may need to lodge formal claim via small claims court and receive it from his benefits or similar unless he has assets they can put a charge on for recovery.
