    stomp grips - any good?

Very good IMO, one of the best things I added to the bike.

I'd go with black myself on a black bike.

+1 can't go wrong with stompgrip, I'd go with black on a black bike, make sure you do it someplace warm, and preheat stompgrip and panels with a hairdryer....

"some place warm" - that rules out my garage then! Might wait till Spring rears it's head before I lash them on then, hairdryer is no problem though, got teenagers who have to preen themselves before leaving the house so I'll steal that when they aren't looking!

When I had my 14 blade I found them to be a " must have", made for a more relaxed ride not having to take the weight on the arms.

I'd also go for the black stomp grips on a black bike. One thing to note with stomp grips is they are quite abrasive and have worn away at the stitching on my Arlen Ness leathers.

Have a look at Techspec tank grips. Good alternative to stomp grips, very grippy, last forever and don't rip the shit out of the inside of your leathers.

Just fitted some Eazi-grips to mine, clear though on a red tank. Instantly feels better with less weight on your wrists.

+1 for the Stomp Grips,2nd bike I've used them on and no damage to my RST leathers (which are 7 years old) or my textiles. All road use,no track.

I found that i was braking so hard that my knees just slipped off the stomp grips so swapped them for barbed wire....

Yeah love the stompgrips, but they do wear your leathers out a bit sooner :(

and i would use the black ones on black bikes, the clear ones are more of a pain to put on "bubble free" ;) I have both black and clear on my R1
