Afternoon all. I was just wondering what you all do for storing the essentials for a day out riding??

I've got one-piece leathers with no pockets but it's not been a problem until now as the R6 that I've just sold had a small underseat storage area where I could put my wallet and mobile.

I've just noticed that the 2004 1000rr doesn't have any storage like this and wondered how any of you get round this problem? :)

I've got the Kriega R3, had a few years now, good quality. Also got a Visor case that goes under my leathers, in case I need to change to a clear visor.

Depends on what you want to store but I found the Kriega R3 very handy with my Dainese leathers with no pockets in.
    R3 - Kriega

Cracking bit of kit. 100% waterproof and used it on my Euro tour last Sept. And will be using it more once my Bazzaz is fitted on the bike

Thanks, lads. I reckon one of those would be perfect for the job. It's just to put my wallet, keys, and mobile in. I've already got a small Kriega bag and it's great quality.

Thank you for the quick reply :)

Hi mate, RR4 / 5 are sh1te for storage! I should know, got one!
I use an ordinary waist bag ( but put everything in ziplock bags inside).
I use pinlock with my visor, so tinted one in most of the time with a spare clear one tucked into me leather, wrapped in micro cloth.
Two second job to change and much smaller than a full visor.
Have fun with the blade, top bike!

That's what I used to do but then got my 1 piece leathers and realised that they don't have any pockets at all :D

Spent a minute or so searching and then thought......"awwwwwwww f*ck!" :(

Or you could try the r10 small rucksack if you prefer not to look bent!

In case you haven't looked yet, the r3 is a bumbag.... Lol

Surely a bum bag only looks bent if you store lube and Will Young CDs in it? :D

Does the 2004 have any storage at all under the seat then? I never really thought to check when I was looking at the bike. I was too busy sitting on it and making "Neeeeeoowwwwww!!!" noises.

All I want to get in there is my wallet, my phone and a small pack that's got a microfibre cloth and a small bottle of visor cleaner in it.

Will young cd's in a bum bag? They would never fit... You'll have to revert to his preferred method of storing shite! Lol

The r3 are quality mate, as is all the kriega gear, can't go wrong at all... As for seat storage, my rr10 has a u lock, puncture repair, cloth and tax disk so sure you have plenty..

Lol!! Cheers, fella. I thought they had absolutely no storage at all. Sounds like it'll have enough for what I want. I'll leave Will Young at home :D
