Hi All, looking for advice. Currently use my MY08 for predominently track use and the occasion road use. Lucky enough to also have access to a newer BMW S1KR. Biggest difference i've noticed is the bars. The bars on the BM are much straighter and wider. Makes for more comfortable ride both on track and road. What can i do for Blade? Can i straighen up the existing bars? and also push them out? Or do i need to order replacement (longer) clip ons? do existing cables stretch further out.
The clip ons (on my 17MY bike, which was similar) had pins. These limit the amount of movement. If you shave the pins off, then you can rotate clip ons further. The limit will be when things (likely the levers) start touching the fairing (or the tank) on full lock. Hope that helps.
