I have the standard fairing screen that's looking a bit tired and has what can only be described as stress lines. I'd like to change it for a double bubble so it's more comfy at speed and fancy a tinted one. Does anyone have any useful comments? Maybe a preferred screen, I've seen this one - Dark Double Bubble Screen Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade 04-07 by DBS: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike after a quick search, seems a bit cheap to me?
The screen takes a hell of a battering, and I think therefore it pays to spend a bit more on quality. I've had:- Fabbri - great looking screen, great quality MRA - arguably the best you can buy - mine didnt pick up any marks over the 2 years I had it on my old 'blade. Powerbronze - steer clear! Mine picked up scratches/swirls like you wouldn't believe, and had horrendous trim that had to be applied to the open end where they couldn't be arsed to finish them properly at the factory Zero Gravity - current screen, am quite happy with it so far. If you look in my albums, the pics showing my bike with a tinted screen is the current Zero Gravity one... I think it looks quite good.
