My 1 piece is a size 54, but I'm finding it a bit tight on top (even without back protector) I can't go up another size as the bottom half is approaching being a bit too big.

Any way of stretching them? Any old tricks or new fangled products to help? Or shall I just get a custom suit made? Haha

Never tried it myself, but I've heard of people soaking their leathers( just in water) until they are really wet, putting them on (probably not very nice) and going for a good blast to get them dry. Apparently a good way to get them comfortable in all the right area's, while in the riding position. Like I said never tried it myself.

As above with water, never done it for leathers but have for my gloves. Didn't mean to mind, got caught in the pissing rain and once dry they just seemed to fit better ever since.
    Every cloud and all that!

Balls to that at this time of year. If I'd have done that today I'd have frozen solid. Will just keep wearing them in untill it gets warm

Give them a good leather feed and that will soften them up , do just the top off but not the bottom, just a thought,

You can get isopropyl rubbing alcohol which softened the leather and you then wear it for a couple of hours to stretch them. It works well on shoes so would imagine it would work on leathers.

Like wozza I would also use some leather conditioner/ oil/ balm and just wear it as much for as long as I can. Leather will give and stretch but if it is dry, then it will most likely crack (lines). Also consider similar products made for breaking in and softening hiking shoes.
from my experience, water always dries out leather and makes it stiff so I wouldn't risk it. I note some of you guys suggested water. So looks like a couple of options open to you.
Now here is a challenge: riding in a wet suit in this freezing temperature. The new iceman?? LOL
