I have got an aftermarket double screen .....

the holes in the screen are about 15-16mm
The holes in the upper cowl are 5mm ....

the well nuts i have (even at full tightness) will pass through the 16mm hole .... how do i mount this screen

All the screens i have had in the past have been the same as the stock one!

was it miby made for a race fairing mate? cant think of anything else, the rubbers fitted from the OEM unit into the Powerbronze screen I fitted and were tight push fit had to put the rubbers in hot water to make them more pliable for fitting.

Couldn't you get some stainless washers that the rubbers are a tight fit into, then push the rubbers through them so holding the screen tight

Washers will leave metal against plastic, leading to vibration fractures, which is what the rubber is supposed to prevent. Nylon and rubber washers is the only alternative I can think of.

I can vouch for MRA screens if that's what u mean.

I have them on both the blackbird and fireblade and they fit perfectly.
