New oil and filter at the ready, just taken the blade out for a warm up, come home drained the oil, took the filter off and now she's draining the remaining dregs.

Should I replace the sump plug washer cos I ain't got one or is it ok to leave the old one on. I did replace it last oil change.

    Cheers all

In an ideal world it should be changed, but I have used the same one on the race bike more than once without any issues. Are you going to be at the Wirral 100 meet in 4 weeks time?

Yes defo, can't wait, been a long winter. I'm not doing the test day on Saturday but aiming for the Sunday, Mother's Day of all days but I think I've bagged enough away day passes over the winter. You doing both days? Fingers crossed for some decent weather anyway.

Let me know if you are there on the Sunday and I will come and say hello. I am there both days, trying to get as much track time in as possible. As long as it is dry, I will be a happy chappy!

I've never changed a sump plug washer in 35 years of biking and never once had one fail on me.

Robin, yes will give you shout when I'm there and hopefully get a chance to say hello this time.

I always reuse it, but I put a dab of silicone on the sumpbolt threads as well.
