Wow! British Magazine SuperBike Prints Final Monthly Issue, Goes Online - autoevolution Sounds like Mr Hogan (the editor) has taken ownership of the mag, and decided to make it an online-only thing! Brave move!!!!
Am sure it makes sense for them to do that, but personally I have never got on with magazines on a tablet. Maybe it's just on Android but I seem to spend to much time moving it around the screen and resizing etc.
That's when I read Fast Bikes.....but I am getting a bit feed up with the grammatical errors and general content so thinking of cancelling my standing order.
Two Wheel Only mag went online only, but I only pay it a random visit now and again. Now called Visor Down (crap name) of course.
is superbe mag the one which uses JHS racing in bristol for a lot of it's Dyno work. I know one mag does and is based in Bath but not sure which one. I think it's Fastbike As for Superbike going online only, thats a shame. I know many on here would have gone to online only for convenience, price or taking up new tech and so on but for me this is the end of Superbike. I have in recent months bought less and less bike mags. Up to 6 months ago I used to buy PB, Superbike, Ride and fastback & MCN. But as most bike mags are the same and review the same and just seem to be the same all the time I just get the odd PB now. and as for me magazines should be paper. I prefer it. old fashioned no. I read the news and so on via my iPad or Nexus 6 but this is only as I don't buy the morning papers. I think Superbike will hope this will reduce costs which I hope it will for them but also it will half if not more the readers. I hope Superbike continues
I recently renewed my MCN subscription and changed from print to online, mainly due to it being delivered up to eight days late (not good for a weekly). The problem is it's not optimised for the iPad and you spend your time zooming in to read it, then dragging it around to see what they're talking about, then having to zoom out again to change the page. It's as if they've just scanned a printed edition and put it online. But at least it's available on a Wednesday morning!
I was just about to say it's always about on a wed locally then seen where you live and can understand why you go online
I just stand in the magazine aisles in Tesco, Asda or W H Smith and read all the mags whilst the misses does the shopping, saves a fortune.
