Support front end...

    OK.. Second question...
    Hope that's OK...

    I don't have a front end stand and I need to get the bloody wheel out for a new tyre... I'm on a budget with a few things needing doing to my RRA.. That's been run over a tough winter etc.. Etc...

    Can I hold the front end up with my blank and downpipe combination, I've seen it done or.. Is it utter madness...? 35 quid with the wheel on 17 quid if I take the wheel of.... Yes I am skint haha

    You can get a front paddock stand for the difference, but you would need a rear stand too.

    Yeah - ratchet straps off ceiling joists work. You can get a front stand off eBay for not a lot. Worth factoring in the cost of damage if you drop the front of the bike!!
