Sorry cant help down your way but a bi further up there is JHS racing but also another company that comes highly and where I will be going this year MH Racing | No. 1 in Suspension Services & Development Technology
JHS looks ideal £33 and less than an hour away. Is Bristol nit closer to you Wiltshire? Or are MH just better?
Heard many good things about MH but never used JHS for suspension set up. My cousin used MH and found them to be very handy and really know there stuff. MH is only 30 mins away and JHS is about 5 mins away from me. Nut I will be looking at trying MH due to the good reports I have heard about them first
Chris, I'm sure there's a company on Marsh Barton, near the incinerator. I'll try and look it up for you.
Just re-read my previous message and realised it makes little sense, but that reflects my 1hour of sleep last night. Luckily just blagged a half day to go home to bed. My tiredness can also be blamed for overlooking peak performance; I've been there a few times and Steve (I think) even offered me race spec suspension for the R1. I shall give them a bell - cheers lads
In that case mate, what are they like. I fancy getting mine looked at as he's getting on a bit and I'm the fourth owner. Just to make sure everything's as it should be beyond the usual service and MOT requirements. I sometimes think the nose dives a bit suddenly under braking, but it may be me reading it wrong. Your experience on their service would be appreciated.
I never actually got any work done but friends have and rated him highly. He defiantly knows his stuff and checked my bike out with no charge when I was worried about a noise. Not sure what his prices are like but will bell him in a bit and let you know.
OK so it's £50 for track or road set up and he will also give you the settings to change between the two. I was hoping he could do an inbetween kind of set up but he assures me this is not possible. does anyone use a track set up on the road? If so is it that bad, bearing in mind we ride hard on the road for short trips
That's good news mate. I appreciate you finding out. Now all I've got to do is get away from bloody work when he's open and it's not pissing down. Cheers mate.
I've used Steve at Peak Performance before and he's Brill..... As you said he gives you both settings and explains how to do it too.
