Hi guys looking at maybe dropping my forks out my 09 plate and getting them sorted out by the guys at K-tech. I know the work these guys do is the dogs but just dont know whether, I would see any advantage from it, mainly quick road and track day now and again. I reckon would be £400 for the work to be carried out or is the standard suspension up to the job ......................

Difference is though i beleive he is talking about a piston kit upgrade also whereas your only having springs & oil.

I have had my front swapped with k-tec springs and 5 weight oil and it transformed the bike, not sure if the benefits of a piston kit will change it untill i get a better shock for the rear this year. looking to get a nitron race unit .

Got mine booked in for February at MCT, they totally transformed my 954. I was going for the KTec piston kit, as recommended by CC. Money is a little tight so just going for match weighted new springs and oil and set up. Plus they are going to fit my recently acquired Ohlins rear shock complete with piggyback adjuster........I can't wait. Plus of course a set up. Will see how it handles then, if not enough then the Ktec piston kit will have to be done.
