What are my options for shock and fork upgrades on an 07?

Does any of the later years OEM kit fit in?
What aftermarket options are there that don't break the bank?

Depends how far you want to take it.
I have an Ohlins TTX rear shock and Ktech front springs in mine. Front & back have been serviced and set for my weight on track.

I guess I don't really know what my options are at this point so it's hard to know how far I want to take it

I'm struggling to find any ohlins stock. I have seen nitron, bitubo, and matriz I think for shock.
And for forks I've only come across ktech cartridges.

Are there other options out there which I don't know of?

Why do you want to upgrade the suspension?

For me, I had so much damping on the front to compensate for weak springs that my front tyre was getting trashed on track.
Given I'm 110kg kitted up, and blade probably built with circa 75kg in mind, upgrading springs has been on the todo list for a while.
I finally took the plunge a few weeks back and my forks and shock have been rebuilt with stronger ktech springs and aftermarket valves.
(Good job too... my fork springs had taken such a battering they were 10mm shorter than they're supposed to be)

Like I say though, depends what you're wanting to achieve.

Same reasons as you. I am around 110kg fully loaded and can't get enough preload on the rear

Well, I asked a similar question a few months back and got a few useful answers:

For various reasons I went for full service/rebuild of forks and shock, with new uprated KTech springs. JHS in Bristol did the work.
Can't comment on the difference yet as I'm still putting the bike back together!

Note, the shock uses a tapered spring. It was impossible to find a good aftermarket replacement so JHS machined a collar to allow a KTech parallel spring to be fitted.
