Found this thought some might be interested, spec looks good to me, even though I am not in the market just now: http://www.suttonmotorcycles.com/content/pages/used/usedbikes/2012-61-HONDA-CBR-1000cc/25460047.htm#
Looks nice with a few choice mods but like you i am happy with my current blade, maybe when the all new blade is released ?
Yep I am quite happy with my 2011 at the moment. Looks nice though. I have to go over to the Midlands anyway this afternoon so if I get the time I might pop in there for a sticky beak and have a look at the Alpinestars Tech 1 -R suit that I am interested in. Doubt I will purchase from them though as MCA are offering the same for 70 quid less, who knows they might match the deal.
Although i have only seen phots on here and within the press of the 12 .I am happy with the shape of my 11 there is just something not right about the front fairing .
Yes i am also in favour of keeping my rr8 and not buying a 2012. Obviously it is going to be better to ride but after i sat on it at the N.E.C i was not that happy with the build quality. if you squeezed your knees together the tank cover is so thin and un supported it can be pushed in quite a long. i think this will cause lots of them to eventually to start cracking once you start racking up the miles
Hand on heart I'd rather the 2008-11 model all day long but with the dash and suspenders off the new bike
I was born in Sutton Coldfield, and spend all my life living in Four Oaks until I moved over to the sticks with Mrs Freedom. I am over in Sutton at least once a week to see my kids who still live in Sutton with their mother and step father, if you fancy meeting up for a chin wag let me know? You could even give my son some tips on body building as he is on the quest to get bigger and stronger, working out at the gym every other day to a program set out for him. Eating like a horse and taking protein shakes. Its working too, he is getting bigger every time is see him. He was telling me last week he is now bench pressing 100kg, if only for 3 x 3 reps. Nothing for a fella like you I guess but he is very proud of himself. Not sure why it’s called Sutton Motorcycles when it’s in Tamworth, although thinking about it, didn’t they buy out a small motorcycle shop in Boldmere called Sutton Motorcycles? I called in on Friday and brought some Alpinestar GP pro gloves, tired on few leather suits but was not convinced on the fit, so left it for now. However, the sales guy Lee said that he would price match anything on the internet when I said the suit I was interested in was £749 at MCA. He wanted £889. That’s worth knowing when I go back to try on a few more. Great store with huge choice of kit. PM me if you are interested in meeting for a chat sometime.
