I'm posting this buzzing with adrenaline after the first proper ride on my new Rr8 blade. It's my first 1000, and my first Honda and I am really impressed-the engine feels like a gas turbine, so smooth and so torquey. Looking forward to learning all about the blade on hereafter 4 years plus on a gsx-r 750 it feels like I'm starting again as a learner!
Welcome mate... It's ok, once you've retrained the brain into realising you now own a bike that not only looks nice, it'll also go round corners, you'll be fine!
Hey, I am not knocking the 750-one of the best handling bikes out there, Just nice to have a bit of a change and I am loving the blade
Me neither, just friendly banter dude! Like the 750's but never been sold on the 1000's handling or sit in ride position which I find gives a bit of a vague front end. Stonking engines mind!!
Welcome to the forum CeeBee, had a gsxr thou for a while way back, but could never quite get used to the positioning on it, blade is much more my style.
hey ceebee - one of the reasons honda bikes are such a sweet ride is because when the japanese lost WW2, their aeronautical engineers where forbidden to design or work on japanese aircraft due to the conditions of surrender - instead, they morphed into the japanese motorcycle industry being that motorcycles & aircraft have so much in common - a larger number of japans best aircraft engineers & designers went to honda.
Hi n welcome dude, Im not really in a position to talk about GXR1000's or Fireblades.....................
Thanks, but it is coming off so that I can do snetterton in a few weeks. A shame because I managed to set up the fuelling pretty well
