The northwest breakfast meet had the displeasure of looking at one or two of these beasts a couple of weeks ago at millenium motorcycles Now I'm a everyone to their own, sort of guy, but they certainly IMO of course haven't done anything to get me waving my bank card over the counter! but I'm sure the folks that own them love them? But for me, only a face that perhaps a mother could love? In time!
KRL, there are a few lads that have the Hayabusa as a second bike here. I just feel the newer model just doesn't quite cut it cosmetically?
I had a 2008 model and to be honest......the 2013 looks totally unchanged. I did modify mine to suit though and the first thing to come off we're the 2 scud missile launchers to be replaced with a full Yoshi 4-1. It was the best sounding bike I ever owned! Great bikes, very underrated by people who have never ridden one. Very Marmite in the looks department, but aren't all bikes? Is personal preference at the end of the day.
Horses for courses! Am on ma 2nd busa totally the best long distance yomper. Havin a 2010 HRC and busa is a great choice in the garage. Mood dependant is a choice
I used to own a Hayabusa as well and I was very satisfied with the bike. Just for fun , I drove a Fireblade for a test ride. End of story, Hayabusa sold to a friend, Fireblade at home.
I loved my 2008 busa yes the looks are not for everyone but the power is just totally mental. Must say my blade seems tiny next to it and so much easier to maneuver.
I see a common trend with the suzuki range of bikes, you need a magnifying glass to spot the difference between each model range, I think after the k1-k4 models there hasnt really been anything new and exciting with their bikes. and I used to be a big suzuki fan.
Have you seen the new gsxr 1000 for sale now , excellent bike and look all the trick bits on it , Exhaust system , brembo brakes , engine case covers , asv levers ( on this one ) Only around 15/1700 in the country limited edition , it looks a cracking machine , I'm in Newtown Thursday or Friday I'll get a picture , and no more expensive than a new blade with all that on it .
