Bit of a long shot, but I am looking to swap my Mid-2012 Mac Book Pro for a Mac Book Air. For me and the way in which I use it, I don't need the extra processing power and instead would prefer a MBA as they are a little bit lighter and portable.

My MBP was an insurance replacement and so is only about 6 months old. Specs are as follows:

    Processor: Intel Core i5 2.5Ghz
    RAM: 4GB DDR3
    Graphics Card:Intel HD Graphics 4000
    Operating System:Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite
    Primary Optical Drive:DVD+/-RW (Plus Minus)
    Screen Size:13.3 inches
    HDD:500 GB

I jokingly read this out to my wife, as I assumed she was emotionally attached to her MBA...and she said I'd swap
So I have put our specs here for you, although we do realise that yours is newer.
Ours is Model A1369 Late 2010
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86Ghz
    RAM: 4GB DDR3
    Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 320M
    Operating System:Mac OS X 10.10.1 Yosemite
    Primary Optical DriveVD+/-RW (Plus Minus)
    Screen Size:13.3 inches
    HDD:250GB Flash Storage

After rolling the MBA looking for Specs/serials etc, we noticed that the mac is well looked after but does have a scratched bum.

anyhow, thats what we got if its any good for your needs. If not good luck in your search. :)

Hey Zipster, thanks for the offer!

Unfortunately though, like a complete moron, when I posted this before I had assumed that the HDD's (and RAM) in the MBA's were upgradeable like that are in the MBP, but would appear that they are not and are soldered to the motherboard! This means that my quite unspecific request has now turned into a rather specific one, in that it needs at least a 500GB SSD/HDD... slim chance of that happening!

    Sorry, and thanks again.
