I have just bought a blade and on the right side of the swing arm a previous owner has had some scratches polished out along the top, however, the area that has been polished is now brighter than the rest of the swing arm, most of the area had been covered by an Alpinestars sticker but I don't like this and wondered if there is anything I can do to take it back to original. The area affected is around 160 MM. long and 20 MM wide. My swing arm is the aluminium type, i.e. bright finish.

If you polish a bit you will have to polish all as the SWINGARM has a lacquer on it and it will be noticeable with the rest.i would take off and send away to polish or strip the laquer off and leave as a satin finish like Harris do.or polish out affected area and re laquear image.jpg

No! It will make it looked scratched!
Brushed steel undergoes a process in itself to get it to look the way it does. Also a git to clean!
