Anyone know if there are swingarm sliders 08-

R&g don't have any listed but they do fork ones.

I've seen puig do them but can't find any online for sale.

To use on a paddock stand inthink you have to take the bobbins out of them and fit in the swingarm lugs each time which is a bit of a pain.

Had a look and they only need moving if you remove the rear wheel as to get the wheel out the alloy spacers/mounts have to come out.

I'm using GB Racing ones, but they fit to the swingarm lugs.

Not keen on using the lugs as a crash protection point

Going to give them evotech ones a go I reckon

Just bought them evotech ones. They look pretty good and hopefully work well

£67 delivered. Hopefully never need to test them out.

I am thinking of getting these from R&G to match the crash bobbins and front fork protectors. Can anyone tell me how easy they are to fit, given that I am quite a numpty with a new tool kit.

Peace of cake mate . undo the spindle nut , pull the spindle , swap your blocks for the R&G's and refit and tighten

Thanks Dan, I was thinking that I might have to remove/drop the rear wheel and then make all sorts of fiddly adjustments afterwards. Will the rear wheel stay put without any chain adjustment either. Wish they did the blocks in silver to match my swinging arm but sure it will stilll looks sweet and protect it in the event of a spill.

While I have your attention, I think it might have been you last year that recommended I change the grips to the soft (grey) ones to reduce the annoying tingle and dead right hand syndrome. Are they also easy to fit as well, ie put glue on, slide on, job done?.

Having read a few back threads maybe R&G bar ends might also help as they seem quite a bit heaver than the OE.

    Thank you Dan.

The Wheel will drop when you pull the spindle out but with the chain on it won't go far . Just put a block of wood under the tyre so it stays put and inline .

If the new blocks are the same dimensions as the OE ones then it may just be tighten and ride but check the chain to be sure .

Yeah grips are no problem to change . I always use Renthal soft grips which are really tight fitting but so soft you just stretch them over the bars and they are solid with out using any glue at all ,

the hardest part is getting the Originals off .

Oh my gawld, Renthal soft grips in short or long ? Questions Questions. Think I better stay in my comfort zone of legal sales contacts, they are so much simpler.
