Can anyone recommend a tail pack for the back of my 2011 blade, i just need to carry a little bit more luggage.
The Kriega US 10 should give you enough space for day use, nice and compact, and waterproof too, got one myself from Demon-Tweaks only last week
I also use Kriega stuff. I have the R35, US20 and US10. I find them all very good and large enough depending on my journey. What do you need to use it for?
Use Kriega US 20, enough space for 4 day trip.... Waterproof, and extra pockets for maps etc, and very secure when fitted to the bike.... For extra space US 10 can be added.
Depends how much more space you need and what for? If it's just for a Day out for a wallet, Phone, waterproofs, drinks etc then I just use my GIVI quick fit Tank Bag. I leave the lockring on the Tank permanently and just clip the bag on when needed, takes less than 5 seconds. Hi Sinewave, i've got the givi xs 307, probably looking towards a us20, i've looked at the bags you have but they look quite big and i spotted that they are also on a rack, am i right?
Yes mate, whilst the Kreiga gear is good, it's fitment to the rear seat/subframe is not as solid as most would like, hence the rack. I've a US30, US 20 & US 10
Other option is good old Ventura - but if its just a short trip and not a loaded up tent and all its prob. OTT and even I have to admit Kreiga is starting to look sensible....
I personally use the Oxford XC30 tailpack. It's expandable too and fits enough in for a four day euro trip quite comfortably. It's been really useful in the time I've had it. Unzips from the bike and turns into a carry bag or backpack too! As it happens mine's just gone back to Oxford to have a zip replaced under the lifetime warranty. Still, a very good bag and should I need more luggage capacity I have some Oxford first time panniers too. Don't even notice it's all on the bike! Sam
