On perhaps the coldest night/day of the year The Blade I.E my pride and joy will be making an appearance on our public roads tomorrow. Poo weather and salt a plenty on our roads are shall we say, going to make things some what testing.
Anyway I've checked the tyre pressures the bikes plugged into the optimate so all should be good to go, just wish I had a few more miles on her first because
TBH I'm shitting it, I really don't ride in the winter time, well not since my youth, and that's a far cry from my old Honda C90 to 170+bhp.
All that said there will be a few of us, and top speeds going to be, what 20mph max? I just hope none on us make an arse of it.
I mean, sliding past a work mate on his last ride out in the hearse on yer arse isn't really the done thing is it :D

Plenty of silicone prior to going out and masse's of cold water and a good wash when back followed by a drying session before you put that sucker back on charge.Otherwise ring the local scrap yard and get the price of rusty scrap lol.

    Just an update folks.
Firstly thank you for your kind words.
Secondly the ride went very well, I must admit I was nervous as hell to begin with, but very quickly settled down too the job at hand.
I just can't believe how she handles, everything just feels so right? I really can't wait for some summer fun.
Having a garage night this evening, nothing really to do on mine as yet, so whilst I'm raising a couple or three to my mates memory, Bats is giving me a crash course in bike washing techniques. Wish me luck ;)

    Well done mate.

I think your best bet is to just leave the bike with him. You know he wont be able to resist it.
