Tank Pad Removal

    Got a Honda HRC Tank pad I want to remove.

    Anybody got any tips as to best way to remove it without doing any damage ?

    Use a hairdryer mate to take it off then use some WD40 to take any sticky residue left of the tank.

    Then wash clean the tank ready for whatever your puting on next.

    Hair dryer. Then either Autoglym Tar remover or lighter fluid both tried and tested by me and the best way, same routine for the pesky tyre pressure stickers on the swing arm.

    I've used petrol on the likes if the swingarm for the stickers. Don't know if Id put it on any plastics though :)

    Get the WD40 squirted behind them and they lift off easy....

    Hair dryer nice and hot then lift the edge and use the dryer as you peel, shouldn't leave any residue but if it does use wd40 like others have said
    Simples....

    Chainsaw :eek: .. lift the edge then get just tease it off
