Taxing Monthly

    If i pay monthly to tax my bike, can i cancel this after 2 months as i will not be riding for the next 6 odd months?

    or will i be charged a fee or something?

    anyone know?

    No fees, but you will need to SORN the bike. From the DVLA website:

    Cancelling your Direct Debit
    Your Direct Debit will be cancelled if you tell DVLA that your vehicle has been:
    You’ll automatically get a vehicle tax refund for any full months that you’ve paid vehicle tax for but haven’t used. It will take 4 to 6 weeks for you to get the refund.

    If another payment is taken before your Direct Debit is cancelled, you’ll be automatically refunded within 10 days.
