Just a quick one, thought it was going to be a right pain to tax a vehicle after just buying it but I was wrong. Go on the DVLA site, tax vehicle (if no reminder just enter the ref no on the green new keepers slip. Jobs done.
Maybe useles info but I was suprised it only took 3 mins on my i phone.

I guess it's the same as it used to be. I'd be interested to know how I'm supposed to know when it's due if I have no tax disc, or how I claim back the difference when I sell a taxed car.

You get a reminder if the vehicle is owned by yourself

You can also go online and state the vehicle has been sold, you will then get refunded

Bloody hell, have the Government actually managed to make something easy to use. I must complain to my MP, this is just not acceptable :D
