I didn't spend much time riding last year, I think mostly because I never looked forward to donning the leather onesie and digging the bike out of the garage. I'd made the decision to change the bike or sell and not bother getting another but I can't bring myself to let it go. What I think I need to do is sell the onesie and I was thinking of pairing leather trousers with a textile jacket, for comfort. Does anyone know if they can be zipped together? Any brands recommended? Etc......etc.....etc......
Not sure if they can be zipped together, but if they can't you could always get a matching zip re sown in. Do you need to zip together? Why not keep the onesie & look around for a bargain 2 piece then at least you've still got the suit for fast summer blasts or track days. I wear a dainese textile jacket with removable liner wintertime & rainy days it's super comfy & nice & long in the body & arms. I've got a best pair of furygan leather jeans they were expensive but by far the most comfy pair I've ever had, took no breaking in, they really are superb.
A lot of leather and textile jackets come with either a short zip or long zip that can be sewn onto other garments. Alternatively get a bike where you don't feel the need to do the whole power ranger thing like a bonny or scrambler.
Can't remember what these were called but they still on sale. They're great because the waist is nearly fully elasticated which is brill for fish n chip stuffing trips V sturdy press studs & zip which you can't say about some other brands n the leather is ohh so soft . 2 of my mates have bought them as well n love them
A lot of dainese stuff will mix and match zip wise, I have two textile jackets that will zip to my leather trousers and vice versa with leather jacket to textile trousers
Oh I dream of having the same problem Actually I think the elastic may sort your belt problem, they are very snug and hug you in the waist but expand when needed! No saggy bum in them either which is a first
Textile jackets are amazing, especially at this time of year, textile trousers now for the cold and leather trousers in the warm
