Tomorrow morning at 8-00 I'm at the local general hospital for key hole surgery for removal of my gallbladder. It means I'm off the road for two weeks then another two weeks before returning to work.

Karma applies though Grrandee. Two weeks off the bike, then two weeks off work = two weeks on the bike!

Thanks for all the good wishes, finally got let out Sunday afternoon. Op was a success but the old bladder was a bit enlarged, so with canulars, cathiters, a drain and three holes in my stomach it was more like bullet hole than key hole surgery. At home recupperating now, just off soon for first dressing change. Keep looking out the window at the blue sky and thinking.......

More bad news, the doctor has just signed me off for a total of 6 weeks rest and the weather is crap. On a lighter note saw the first gritter of the year on the way home from the surgery.
