    Which part is £709 ? Fairings? but how many / which ones for that price?

    I would consider either a chinese set or just pattern parts - I patched up my endo'd blade for a fraction , OK it took time and lots of ebay searches etc. but no way would I spent that to fix it up.

    Sorry if I was abrupt mate, an easy mistake to make, but the last thing you want is a bill to replace the whole bike.
    Theres some weird and wonderful folk that stalk these streets at night, and the last thing anyone would want to do is read another stolen thread.

    Now thats out the way, the bill. Did they ask you to bend over when they presented it?

    That's for the tank cover mate!! It's only scratched so will get it resprayed properly

    The oops bit was a reply to this but my iPhone is freaking out at the moment. Good shout tho mate I hadn't even noticed I was totally preoccupied with the figures! ;)

    £709 for the cover? I paid about £80 for one in black - that price is daft

    I know but I don't need the whole lot. 709 for the tank cover can come off that straight away plus another 200 as I have most of the wing mirror still minus the stalk where it broke. I need the generator casing which is expensive and the gear selector so it's not all bodywork at all I'm afraid

    Left side mate. All the damage is left side apart from the upper nose cowl.

    List in english-

    Left main fairing panel
    generator casing
    Upper front cowl
    Left hand mirror unit (3parts over 200quid)
    Left air duct
    gear pedal and rubber
    Headlight (one bracket is broken)
    Tank cover (only 3 deep scratches to address)
    Brake lever (pazzo)
    Yoshi bar ends (have standards)
