So why is it that if you go to the alps on roads that are miles from any town and not really a necessity and are covered in snow for half the year baked in sun for the other half the tarmac is pristine!! And our roads in the UK melt with the first bit of sun we have in 6 years or so... or the just break up at the first sign of ice. Is the way we lay our roads that different to europe? Ozz
