I have been myself twice but not on the track. The mates have been quite a few times, this is the first time I've been on a sports bike, so yes I'm wetting myself anticipation and fear, I have to go round on the Blade it just wouldn't be right not to.

    Hi,
No doubt you will be going by tunnel or ferry to Calais. so you have about 300 mile of good road to cover in France/Germany. The Ring is great fun but for what I've seen try not to get too carried away with the atmosphere. It is intoxicating, and dangerous, especially if you haven't much track experience. I believe if you fall and have to be recovered its expensive, If you damage anything like Armco it's Very expensive, and don't expect your insurance Co to cough up. most have an exclusion for the ring now.
I shall put some information about my trip on the Forum after I've been. As far as taking stuff I'm of the opinion the least the better I use a 30Lt waterproof sausage shape bag, strapped to the pillion seat. what I can't take I leave.
