Got back from North Wales yesterday - it pi$$ed down all the way back. Thank god for the muffs going north - it was -1 when I sent off. And thank god for the muffs coming back - hands didn't get wet at all. Think I'll chalk this one up to experience
They don't look all that good but sound like they do a good job, do they slip on and off nice and easily and expensive or no?
Ha Fex - let's be honest - they look as rough as a badgers arse and were only put on for the journey. This is one case where function is preferred over style.
I use muffs on my cb500 commuter during the winter, I used to have the oxford ones but now use tucano urbano with the furry insides, very nice
Furry muffs..............even better. I got to say I am tempted, my hands were frozen yesterday and it took at least 10 mins to get feeling back in my hand, let alone my fingers. Must put my hands in some muffs.
The really annoying thing is I may have inadvertently invented these 35 years ago by cutting down industrial chip fat bottles and jubilee clipping them to the bars just to keep my gloves from freezing solid (yes it did happen) commuting up and down the Exe estuary in the winter. Never, ever occurred to me there might be a commercial angle to it. Double bollocks.
That's a tough call Rob, your crack looks like it has rough edges and fordy's muff looks cosy and safe, not sure which would feel better though. Fordy's Muff looks a bit slack.
Was gonna stick my c..k in it and enter Si s comp ? what do u reckon ?? a winner if i can get the pic on past the mods.......! lol
Sounds risky mate, those edges look sharp, best use some protection, what about wearing furry muffs ?
