Well i am thinking of buying a 06-07 model fireblade and wondering if there are anything to look out for on these (other than the usual when buying secondhand)

I have a aprilia rsv4r aprc at the moment but so far this year i have only done a few hundred miles due to the shit weather so i am thinking sell it as it's alot of money lying doing nothing and buy an older blade.

that looks lovely!! had an 07 blade and it was really nice bike and no issues with them as i,m aware. they run small batterys so can be lazy starters if not used lots but at least they do start unlike my 11 plate this morning. won,t feel as nice as your rsv but a great bike for sensible money.

    Thats a gorgeous looking bike.

I've a 04 with a few bits on it. Very capable bike, not much on the road can match it. It's more capable than me that's for sure! You can pick up a good 06/07 for about 5k now.

I have an 05 and it is superb. Goes well, handles and stops well too. Just as happy on track as it is on the road.

It's in the dealers where i work £10995 but would take £10500 with all the goodies, it has tail tidy, carbon side panels, carbon airduct covers, austin racing endcan, austin racing levers and the bellypan from the se edition and a motografix front number board. The bike only has 2248 miles on it aswell.

I have all the original parts except one side of the bellypan which i sold.
