I'm not sure at this time if I can make it, and it's a bit tight and twisty (perhaps only the 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear required !) but I thought I would share this... Please note that 3 Sisters race track are holding a charity night for North West Blood Bikes (Lancs & Lakes) on Tuesday, 11th June between 2pm to 9pm. It is not a race event in any kind of way, but more of a track experience.. Basically riders can turn up at any time on their road legal bike with suitable / normal protective clothing (leathers etc are not compulsory), pay £10 for 10 laps and go out on the track in groups of about 8…. Then go to the back of line, pay another tenner and do it all again if they wish. All profits after paying for marshals and St John’s go to NWBB L&L, so this is about getting as many bikers as possible to turn up and have a bit of fun doing something many are unlikely to experience, especially for only £10… Can I ask you to consider coming along to support this event and spread the word amongst your biker friends.
Possibly the reason you're not getting any replies Mike is because I already covered it a while ago.......sorry dude.
lolz shit track for 600+ if you want to cringe, set up on lunar (loony) bend and watch them all come flying off. no way would i take mine on there, it's like glass! theres so much rubber down off the karts, people underestimate the grip & highside all over the place. deadly in the wet as well. used to love it on my 2t 125 though, didnt need to brake on that lol!
VVTR - you raise some valid points ! I know where you are coming from and thats why I'm not too bothered myself but as the Blood Bikes peeps say it's not a track day, its a fund raising event for some folk that might want to just have a play. I might pop down if I can just to watch "the entertainment" at Lunar as the circuit is not so far from me. I've only ever been around 3 Sisters myself on a kart and no way can you stretch the legs of bigger bikes.
