Ive fitted a hairy R QAT today on my gixxer 600 k3. Alot of money for a little piece of plastic :( Whats the proper way of setting the cables. Never done any work on the throttle before on any bikes ive owned so not sure. Ive got the throttle snapping closed but not as quick/smoothly as the blade. Its always been like that. Also rpm stays same when the bar are turned left to right.

Ive lubed both throttle cables. Is there anything else I need to do? I need to get it right before it goes to Jerez. I wont be able to ride it til then. Dont want to be losing track time messing with the throttle.

You need a minimum of 2-3mm of free play James as well ensuring that any adjustment is spread equally between the adjusters at the throttle bodies and the throttle it's self
