I had a bit of an incident with a roundabout and some diesel a week or so ago (its amazing what ~15mph will do sliding down the road...) and lost the end weight off of my throttle. Didn't think too much on it at the time just picked the bike up (whilst cursing) and rode it home. I ordered a set of replacement weights off of ebay and when I went to fit them the one on the left hand side had something reasonably close to the end which the new weight screwed into which was missing on the right hand side. I could still screw the weight into the end but it appears to sit closer than before to the twist grip. Am I missing something out of the clip on that I need to replace or should I just leave it. I've made sure the twist action isn't impeded in any way, but it could be if I screwed it all the way in. Derick
its a little difficult to explain.........but if you have a look at the good side you will see how the threaded section has a lug to clip within or edge of bar end......... my guess it has either been broke with your accident or not positioned correctly as per the good side......pushed in too far and although you will screw it in it will pull in bar end closer.... Any better ?? lol

Any better ?? lol Should add Im sure bar end assembly's are made up of three of four individual bits........ !! even more confused now !!
Forget my waffling.......here s a how to piss about vid..... He s changing bar ends but if you look at assembly you might get an idea why its not sitting right......also make sure the bar end stepped section hasn't broke off......
If you need anything for a 08+ bike than let me know, just taken the cli-ons off and have the everything still here, clip on, bar end, inside thingy
Thanks both. I'm missing the notched bit on the inside of the bar end. Skippy, how much would you be looking for the throttle side?
