I've just booked this day. Anyone else coming to play. £89 - got to be worth a go. Especially as its the Coastal track which includes the awesome corkscrew I'm also booked on Oulton on the 6th August http://1000rr.co.uk/trackdays/19677.htm Booked in the fast group for both days on my R6.
Yea! I won't be on my lonesome. No Limits have sorted free camping and the cafe/bar open for the night before so I'll get there after Oulton's wrapped up, unload the bike, have a beer or two and sleep in the van. I'll hopefully have a new scrub rear wet tyre coming before this as the weather is unpredictable and I melted my last one in drying conditions mid race. The good thing with Anglesey is it's grippy as fook, even in the wet
Superb, I'll be in my silver Bongo...with Andys old Zx7 think Jase can be talked into it with his 3 track days in a week!, as I have only done one track day so far, yesterday at Oulton...I cant wait till this one. a mate of mine is coming too in Fast group subject to his work allowing the day off. but should be a Goer! I've got wets too but hopefully wont need them. Come on you August weather...be good
I can't think of a better track to learn to ride in the wet. Tyke was actually hoping it rained at the race weekend as he was enjoying it that much so I'm not too fussed if it does rain.
Roll call: IcarusGreen - Fast Jase - Fast thefirebloke - Fast repsolwill - Novice Daznorthwest - (fast i'm assuming) repsolwill's mate - Fast Anyone else? I'll be there on the evening of the 6th August after travelling down from Oulton Park when I pack up there We'll have to pick a garage and put it up on here on the day.
Well back after my first time here and all I can say is what an awesome track in a beautiful location and the weather was perfect very similar track to Cadwell with its roller coaster sections but so much fun and will be back there soon. A 1000 is a handful round here and it keeps you very busy on the bike and it did take me till my 3rd session til I was feeling happy to where I was going on track and it has sooooooo much grip good crack with all the lads as always. Also the cafe there is very reasonable on prices unlike some tracks and very friendly staff and they even kept the bar open till late when it should of shut at 7.30pm.
Great to see you again mate.. Good bunch of lads . Hope the boys who had an off today heal quickly. See you soon mate
Yes mate.. She's going better . The kawasaki is growing on me sbd I do like it more than I did. I don't think ill bd keeping it tho but may pinch the brembo gear off it for a blade.. Spent a bit of time with an instructor today evo had a beautiful bkade.. Talked about a deal today and Exchsnged numbers so fingers crossed .. Are you well Matt? Nearly time for thd zx10
I am well mate, yep the zx10 could be ready next week although they told me they won't have the front fork internals till September so will have to go back for those to be fitted, on the plus they are fitting hel brake lines which i wasn't expecting... I hate being without a bike
I'm looking forward to the pics.. Saw a few zx10s toady and and they go well.. I wasn't keen at first but they have grown on me alot. Defo the bunch mark in super stock and superbike .. Kawasaki is in top
