Based on VVTR's post as below: buxton kebab run - meet up at lymm services m6 j20 m56 j9 for 18:00 depart 18:15 then a respectable pace through kuntsford to the cat n fiddle pub, pre-order food from the car park, then a steady 50 to the centre of buxton for an awesome kebab good pub next door as well.... well, good beer. tbh its the only pub i have ever been in where everyone is totally wasted! usually you get the odd one! its worth it to see the inbreds staggering round then a good hoon down long hill through whaley bridge, turn left at the lights then head into pott shrigley and rainow through some awesome twisty B roads that bring you out back at the tesco in macclesfield a nice 80 mile run, set off 6-630, usually back for half ten Will add a route, but wanted to post quickly for folk to be able to plan their Thursday etc. MENU TO FOLLOW TO ASSIST PRE-ORDERING FOOD Map link http://goo.gl/maps/G9WSi I edited the route slightly to give a bit of variation on return and include Alder Edge and the airport tunnels (good for bouncing off rev limiter...)
as above - MENU we pre-order from the cat n fiddle carpark so our grub is ready when we get to the shop MAP & ADDY this saves us faffing about while everyone decides and orders - therefore giving us an extra half hr or so to enjoy the roads. daylight till 10.30 so no clear visor unless you live miles away, we should be back before it goes dark. good fun run this is (and not a slow fast brake chickenstrips contest lol) btw dont worry about the plod presence - there most probably wont be any... sometimes get one parked up on long hill but its on a slowish section anyway so they wont be bothering us and the c&f - for a laugh, try to stick to 50. i guarantee you will shit yourself !

I plan to attend, but dont get home till 5:30, got to change etc then head over from Stockport so be a little after 6.
ahahah lightweight! they are big tho. i got a large lamb & chicken tikka in a nan with about 1kg of free donner on top lol. (dont know where i put it all!) at the cat n fiddle - thats my mate sean's bench in the background. buxton was hilarious.... there was a fair on over the road from the kebab house and i think all the freaks had escaped! there were dwarfs everywhere and a massive woman the size of a pregnant rhino... then to top it off an awesome tranny in a long red dress strolled past us. looked like a fkin les dawson sketch! wish i'd got my pic took with her/him/it! lamb chicken & donner chicken tikka & donna (small!) bit of traffic on the way there but nothing the blade couldnt slice through.... nice & quiet for respectable progress on the way back home just before the light failed. perfect schoolday run imo.

Sorry I couldnt make it last night; work getting in the way. I did get out for a run up the Snake later on; seems bumpier every time I go up there. Hope to get out on the next one.
