    to right it is , things seem dodgy when they just say leave a message and ill get back to you ,

    It looks dodgy to me. No doubt as well as giving you the V5 they'll give you a letter from their uncle in Nigeria who happens to be worth a $1,000,000,000 and is desperately trying to give it to you for free through some legal loophole, all you need to do is give him your bank details for him to make the transfer...

    there is a report item on the ebay page if you suspect it is dodgy… far too many scammers about.

    I've seen a few items like this. Messaged the seller and it always, hello sir, I am trustworthy, pay by western union and I will deliver bike

    some years ago I was after a bmw one popped up near in a street (I could tell my the picture which had my mates evo in a drive ) where I know some friends live I cannot not got back to you as I work offshore just sent me the money and I will bring the car to you yes right

    Yep had the same thing on gum tree
    A lovely looking R1 guy reckoned he worked on the oil rigs send the money he said and he would send it down by courier
    No I said I will fly up and if ok will ride it home funny enough he never replied

    But is only takes one half wit to make all their work worth while...... and those sorry people are out there. I doubt many are in the motorcycle community as to go to all the trouble of passing your test and actually riding a bike you have to have '' something '' about you, not the usual victim ' MO ' for a scammer.
