Well today has been quite simply awesome... At recent work do we went to urban golf, got paired up with my md and as I've played a fair bit in the past he was shocked I was actually pretty decent. Got an email from his pa the next day asking if I could deputise for him on a charity day for a charity he is a trustee - no problem I say, where is it? Walton Heath! £160 a round top 100 course in the world - fcuk yeah I say, oh when? This Friday she says, oh - I'm supposed to be off as it's my birthday and Lisa is of too... Quick call to the boss and she says go for it, although she isn't pleased but understands... Played today and the course was out of this world! Had full works, breakfast, free pro v1 balls on tap, caps, towels the lot.... Had such a great day, then to top it off I won the raffle : A weekend for two golfing at gleneagles!! What a touch. Now off to the pub to Have a few beers. Happy days. Have a good one folks!

Golf, a game I envy anyone that can play well, I love to watch the open etc, I played in Spain on our course, it was a waste of a fcuking good walk taking the clubs tbh. I sold the clubs the next week. Well done Jimbo. Enjoy your beer and revel in the days events.
I shot 30 points of an 18h/c on a championship course so not too bad considering I've played three times this year... But played with a fella who shot 4 over par on a course he hasn't played on before - now that was something to witness I tell ya. Awesome player!

In fairness I did once go around Nigel Mansell's Woodbury Park, just after it was built and really enjoyed it. That was in the rally car mind.
No it's the one I used to have to drive by everyday on my way home in Woodbury just after I got married. One evening we'd just dropped a square cut gearbox and a brand new Weber carb in the mini and were taking it home and noticed that the gate across the building site had been left open by the landscapers when they finished and, well lets just say I wasn't as mature then as I am now.
It's not so much the score mate, it's the game Still can't quite grasp this handicap milarky. Thats like letting a rider who is 5 seconds a lap slower than the fastest guy sit on pole. Ps I did try it in my younger years. Got fed up losing my balls
