Never used one but I believe they had a problem with the mount which allowed/caused it to fall out when moving. Not sure if they fixed or recalled the mount.

We took benifit of a tomtom last year around Spain. It was only meant to come with us should we get in a tight spot for fuel of accomodation.
Didn't use the bike specific model which I belive is supposed to give the best motorcycle roads Available.
But we entrusted a tomtom 1005 to get us from the Picos De Europa across to San Sebastian and then on towards Andorra.
I or Steve just picked a town or area we was heading for and tapped avoid tolls and motor ways.
Seriously, it put us on some smashing roads, that we perhaps may have missed following a map?
