Hi all, Just thought I would say hello as I've not been on the site for a long time, as I broke my femur and it has taken nearly 3 years to heal and I have not been riding or having anything much to do with bikes.... But that is all in the past and I'm back! I have still got my Blade and have started riding again. And I have a question that has always bugged me about my 2010 Blade. Is it normal for the fuel light to stay on for a while after filling up? I like to fill up and re-set the trip, but find I have to wait until I have ridden off down the road before the light goes out....annoying!!
I had a double break in the right femur and had a nail inserted....unfortunately for me, the bottom screws have broke and moved downwards. This has caused no end of pain and hassle!
On the plus side............the screws and nail are staying in my leg....And I have a new track bike!
Welcome mate. I also had a lay off after injuries. It is normal for the light to stay on a bit after filling up or at least mine also does it.
Martin that picture looks too familiar for my liking!! I was doing loads of track days and getting pretty quick on my bike...... And then one day I was on the road traveling about 20 mph past a queue of stationary cars and some teenage kid decided to U-turn in front of me without looking! I hit the side of the car and my leg was crushed between the handle bars and petrol tank...ouch I didn't even have time to hit the brakes. The first I knew about it was I was laying on the floor with my right foot next to my right shoulder I remember thinking, this doesn't look right! There was a picture on this site a few years back on the cbr600rr bike upside down on the road If I can work out how to put pictures up again I will post it up
