too much time on my hands

    was clearing out my house and I happened to find some
    left over declas from when I got my last fireblade painted
    up in the west colours so I decided to give my laptop
    a race rep look for a laugh

    anyone else decal up there laptops/pc's or is it just me with "too much time on my hands":)

    I have loads of Pistonhead stickers, ones from the blade and a few Triumph and Rossi ones but keep them in a draw. No idea what to do with them until NOW ! :)

    Nice touch Phantom. My brain tells me it looks great.

    My OCD tells me the decals ain't level. ;)

    yeah the honda is off a couple of mm, checked with a tape rule there now lol
    thats me doing a rush job before work, should have masked off lines lol

    no way im sticking things all over my smooth ally macbook pro.
    I prefer it bareback...more tactile! :)

    although where did i put my repsol stickers....lol

    No way are you going to drag me into one of those apple vs PC arguments, im not taking part!!

    I have a pet hate of stickers, especially one's applied to things that they shouldn’t be applied to, you know the one's, like turbo badges on a poxy 10 year old V nova. AND if they are not straight, that’s it they have to come off. I am so bad with it that once when we ordered a brand new car for the wife, I told the salesman that I didn’t want one of the “car supplied by” stickers put in the back window. We turn up to pick the car up and guess what. The requested don’t fit sticker was on the back window AND at an angle. I got a touch of the vappers and told the handover guy he could stick his bunch of flowers and get that sticker off now or we are not taking the car. But it will rip if we try and remove it sir he said. Don’t care, not my problem. In the end they loaned us a demo car till the next day and when we returned again a sticky mess was still on the window along with bits of the original sticker. We kept the loan car over the weekend, put over 600 miles on the clock during a pre planned trip and returned the Monday evening to collect our now sticker less car as ordered. The sales manager was fuming.

    I know it’s petty but I can’t help myself.

    No it’s not that, if I wanted one I would have one, just not with all those horrible stickers on the lower part of the fairing. Just not keen on the Repsol, and anyway they are so much slower than the HRC which in turn is much slower than the black one's.

    now now, everyone knows the orange paint from a repsol has teflon in it...so we are all naturally non stick.
    add on to that the tyres have more silicon sprayed onto them so they have less traction but more oomph (clever those japanese)
    right, now Ill hear no more on the issue :p
